Seeing Red AZ, reported more details on Before It’s News. Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, speaking at a Townhall meeting in Saddlebrook Monday evening told the approximately 200 people in attendance that his office only recently learned of plans to bring 40 to 60 illegal youth to Sycamore Canyon Boys Ranch in Oracle.
Babeu said he has attempted to contact Homeland Security to express public safety and health concerns. But overall, he told the audience, he feels he’s being kept in the dark by the feds.
He confirmed the Boys Ranch facility has increased staff by 30 people in anticipation of the new arrivals and has vowed, “We will not let up, that’s our job to provide public safety to the families that are there.”
Between 500 and 700 people, are expected in Oracle today.
