Israel says it shot down a drone near it’s Southern city of Ashdod on Monday 14.
The drone, launched from Gaza was downed by a Patriot surface-to-air missile.
Unmanned aircraft point to a new level of conflict as the israelis have largely negated
most of the rocket attacks emanating from Gaza.
Rockets have a predictable trajectory unlike drones and are likely more difficult to track and destroy.
